This tasty blog series is back for another installment, folks!
Today's delectable drink is not a type of tea, but a hot chocolate (I'm starting to regret calling this thing Tea and Austen!) The following is a recipe for Lavender White Hot Chocolate.
INGREDIENTS:
1. Whole milk--2 cups
2. White chocolate chips--1/2 cup
3. Lavender buds--1/3 tsp
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place the milk and lavender over medium heat until it simmers, stirring occasionally.
2. Remove from heat, and allow the lavender to stay in the milk for 5 minutes.
3. Strain the lavender from the milk.
4. Place the milk over heat. Add in white chocolate and stir until melted.
5. Whisk the mixture until it is frothy.

PAIR WITH: Northanger Abbey
White chocolate leads a simple existence. It is used in some candies and desserts, and sometimes remains as chips and morsels. It yearns, however, to be introduced to a more exciting and intriguing lifestyle. One day, white chocolate meets milk, and is invited to go on holiday in a beautiful mug. White chocolate, of course, has always wanted to visit a mug. There, white chocolate spends her days chasing after lavender-scented mysteries. But it soon faces a problem: Are these mysteries real, or just a figment of its imagination?
It took me SO LONG to figure out what to do with Northanger Abbey!
It's almost time, y'all--next installment, Pride and Prejudice!
