Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever, and rich--and now on YouTube! From the creators of the Emmy-winning vlog The Lizzie Bennet Diaries comes another modern Jane Ausen video adaptation. Austen's classic novel Emma is the original source material for Pemberly Digital's newest YouTube masterpiece, Emma Approved. Joanna Sotomura portrays Emma Woodhouse, a young up-and-coming buisnesswoman and the face of a matchmaking and lifestyle-coaching company. Emma vlogs about her company and the many unique people in her life, including Alex Knightley, her buisness partner, and Harriet Smith, her assistant and newest client. Emma Approved is a flawless adaptation of my second-favorite Jane Austen novel. Joanna Sotomura brilliantly portrays the charming yet flawed Emma--she is vain yet selfless, egotistical yet loyal. And Alex Knightley is nearly as dreamy as William Darcy (nearly!) Emma Approved is a smashing success, a tremendously well-crafted adaptation of one of Jane Austen's classic romances. So, grab a cup of coffee and your favorite digital device and enjoy a YouTube marathon with Emma Aproved!
